Teaming up with Estúdio Kimura, I developed a series of illustrations to be part of the new identity of "Bode do Nô", a restaurant located and passionate about Brazilian Northeastern culture.
The character style was strongly influenced by clay dolls found in Northeast Brazil. For the line work, I created custom vector brush styles based on woodcut textures, often found in famous Cordel literature. This was a really fun project and I especially loved the research behind it!
